The training of young people is a problem that our company, DONE, a web design agency, takes very seriously. Indeed, the programmers, integrators and web designers of tomorrow are the young people of today in school who need to be trained and supported as best they can, if our companies want to be able to call on a highly qualified workforce in the near future, able to provide high-flying services. This is all the more true in a sector of activity that is evolving at a rapid pace, both in terms of methodology and fields of application.
That is why DONE has been working for some time with different institutions, schools and teachers across the country. DONE works on site in computer science final year or BTS through specific workshops, with the mission of informing apprentices and keeping them up to date on the new technologies used in the field, the ultimate objective being to facilitate the introduction of young people to the labour market. In this respect, our agency regularly gives students the opportunity to express their talents on a large number of our projects of a very varied nature.
In this capacity, three DONE experts were able to meet the final year students of the Lycée technique des Arts et Métiers (the two sections of the BTS) on 23 February 2018 for a full day. The theme of the workshop was "CMS", with an introduction to the subject, system preparation and a deepening of the coding at the level of new applications ("plugs in") intended to feed this type of CMS. This workshop was an opportunity for the students to immerse themselves in this technical and demanding subject.
We would like to thank the students, Gilles Everling, Professor of Engineering, and the management staff.
